OOTD

The boyfriend and I had plans to attend the circus last night but once we got there we changed our minds about it and left. It looked very small and janky and it cost 20 bucks to get in so we were like "Naaa, lets save our money for something else". So we went out to eat and went home. FAIL!! But, before we left I decided to take some ghetto mirror pictures of my outfit I had on.

I have had these shoes for about 7 years now...they are falling apart horribly and I need to throw them out. I super glued them back together about 10 minutes before I took this photo. Pretty sad huh? There comfortable, what can I say?

The butterfly bracelet in the middle my friend made me. :D

Side braid today to get my hair out of my face!

Project 5 Pan! P5P

I have come to the realization that I buy way too much makeup and need to use up some of the things I have. Makeup is too expensive to go around buying a pink lipstick for $26.00 when you already have 5 more that look similar so when I saw that Amber from Lipgloss and Flipflops was doing a Project 5 Pan and wanted someone to do it along with her for support I jumped all over that.

The only product I am allowing myself to buy is MASCARA,That's IT!  I'm weird about mascara and I feel like if I have more than one at a time the one I'm not using will get old and give me an eye infection or something, I know I'm a weirdo but ya never know! 

Here are my P5P products:

MAC All that Glitters Shadow. My makeupgeek shimma shimma shadow is a great dupe for this and I actually like the shimma shimma better so I need to use this up so I have room in my small Zpallette for a new shadow.

This is a smashbox trio that Ive had forever and have already used up one of the colors. I need to use the rest so this little palette doesn't take up space in my makeup thingy.

Maybelline FIT foundation in 220. This foundation is collecting dust and I need to get rid of it. I'm going to force myself to use it up. I don't like it much. It leaves a nice dewy finish and its feels good on the skin but its not right for me. My face is to oily for this product and no matter how much powder I use I still look oily. It would be great for someone with dry skin.

Bare Minerals Tinted Mineral veil. Another thing taking up space. I like the translucent version better.

The body shop blush in #12(I think its 12,some of the label is coming off because its old) Its a pretty Peach blush but I want another one that's darker in color.

Both are old and the labels have worn off

That's my little list of products, hopefully I can use up 5 of them or maybe even all of them :)

Oh and to make it easier to grab for these products I took all of the lip products out of my purse except for the ones pictured so it forces me to use them and the rest of the products I put them in this cute little Owl bag and sat it right in front of the mirror I do my makeup at so its one of the first things I notice. Hopefully this helps! :) I will keep everyone updated on whats happening with my P5P. If anyone else would like to join that would be AWESOME! the more the merrier :)

My last haul before Project 5 Pan! (P5P)

I have one last product haul for you guys before I start my Project 5 Pan. I have come to realize that I have way to much makeup products and I need to use up the stash that I have before I buy new things. This last haul was a shopping trip with a friend that ended up in me going for 2 things and walking out with, well, more than 2. So here it is!

My point of going to the store was to purchase 2 things
1.MAC paintpot in painterly (which I did, see it up there in the pic?)
and
2. A peach nail polish option for my friend whom is getting married this summer (Got that too) its Essie,A crewed interest

I should be done but, NO this pretty blue glitter polish slapped me in the face and said "buy me" so I did :) its Venique, hurray harache. Ive never used Venique polish before so I'm excited to see how it lasts.

Then I only bought 1 more thing,
It is a 2011 Holiday Limited Edition Cosmetic set designed by Michael Kors for Estee Lauder.

I bought this makeup set because I loved the cute little bag it came in

It has a top zip that opens into the main compartment and then has a flap on each side to shove lipgloss or lipstick  in. :)

Here's what was inside the bag... 

2 travel sized brushes one for shadow and the other for blush. I wont get much use from them. I never like brushes that come in pallets or kits.

Double Wear stay in place eye pencil in onyx

Pure color gloss in star pink

pure color lipstick in pink parfait

Estee Lauder Michael Kors eyeshadow and blush pallet.The colors in this palette are very neutral and the blush is a really pretty peachy pink color.

This makeup set seems like it will make a great all in one day look. I have not tried much Estee Lauder so we will see how it goes.

So now after this little haul I'm not buying anymore makeup until my P5P is finished!

FOTD April 2nd

I wasn't going to post a Face Of  The Day until I found my camera (I have NO idea where its at) because it is really hard to take photos of makeup with a phone, but I have gotten so many complements on my makeup  I decided to post one. I have worn this look twice already and both times Ive had at least 2 or 3 people tell me they like it. I don't know why? Its a neutral look so, Its nothing that interesting.  Sorry for picture quality in advance..

It looks better in person, I couldn't get the lighting and angles right for the pictures :/ I will say that the Colorstay 16 hour shadows are really great. I was not expecting to like them as much as I do. I NEVER like eyeshadow from the drugstore for some reason but this was an exception.

March Favorites!

I haven't done a monthly favorites in a few months now so I figured it was about time to do one. I only have 3 makeup items though (all 3 are getting a separate blog post on their own) the rest are a mix of things. :)

                                                                         MAKEUP:

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa. I have only had this stuff for a week and a half and I love it!!

Aveda Dual Action Foundation in Twig. Keeps my face from looking like an oil slick

Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Shimma Shimma. So many uses for this shadow!!

OTHER BEAUTY FAVS:

Vichy Lift Activ Nuit. I Received this in a birchbox in February and I'm really liking this face cream. (review coming soon)

Aveda Control Force Hairspray. I have been loving this spray, It holds my hair in place without making it feel hard or crunchy and If I need to change my hairstyle that day I can easily brush it out without any white flakes flying off my head.

Hempz Triple Berry Swirl lotion. This body lotion is super hydrating ans smells just like a berry slushy. mmmm :)

Victorias Secret Super Model Fragrance Mist. I'm not very good at describing scents so all I can say about its scent is that its  somewhat fruity and clean smelling. I get "what perfume is that"complements all the time when I have this on. Ive had this for a long time, I'm not sure if they even make it still. :(

FAVORITE NEW PURCHASE OF THE MONTH:

I bought this dress a few weeks ago from target and cannot wait to wear it. Ill have to do an outfit of the day post when I do wear this dress (if I can find someone to take pics for me) I love the colors of this and how the fit of it is super girly.

RANDOM FAV:

I have been really digging Sweet Frogs frozen yogurt.(where Im froms version of pinkberry)
 I love how you can customize it with tons of different flavors of frozen yogurt and toppings!!!
