Cut

                      I CUT OFF 6in of HAIR!!!!
My hair has been getting on my nerves lately. The ends were so dead and dry that even deep conditioning treatments weren't helping.

see the fuzzy ends.
 I finally was able to get it cut ( weird that I work in a salon and can never get my hair done, every ones always so busy). I decided to chop all the dead off...6inches later...

No more fuzz!!!

Derek is not fond of shorter hair but I sent him a picture of it and he said he liked it. I'm glad because he never wants me to cut my hair but, I just couldn't take it anymore!!!

Birchbox

                                   September Birchbox!
This months box is to celebrate thanks to all of the subscribers of birchbox. Its been a year since the first birchbox launch...(I had no idea its only been a year since they started) and the products in this box are to represent the personality of birchbox.

The card with all the details :0)

From Left to Right

Incoco Nail polish Applique- These are cute little polish adheasives that have a fun cheetah print on them

Blinc Mascara- A waterproof/ sweatproof  mascara that makes tubes around the lashes

Lash Card- A card that is placed on the eyelid to keep mascara on  lashes and not the eyelids

From Left to Right

Girly Harvey Prince Eau Flirt- A perfume with notes of citrus, jasmine, lavender and pumpkin

Jouer Lip Enhancer- This is a lip balm, plumper and hydrater in one. I tried this one out already and it feels creamy on the lips and does plump without the nasty sting. :)

All and all this wasnt my favorite birchbox. I thought maybe since it was there one year they would have a special full size product in it or something....but who knows, maybe Ill love one of the products in this months box.

Favorite product from last months box:

This mask feels so nice on te skin, its leaves my face nice and smooth and seems to brighten my skin up. The smell is amazing too, just like Papaya. Yummmmm, makes you want to eat it!! It is a little hard to get off your face if your trying to just use your hands so using a warm washcloth is the best way to get it all the way off. :)

Site to get your own Birchbox! Only ten bucks a month :)

AUGUST FAVORITES!!!

Ive decided to do a favorites post because I have never done one yet and there are a few things that I have been loving this month.

                                                Makeup:

My first 3 favs are the MAC eyeshadow in sketch. It is a velvet finish  and I have been using this color as a crease color or putting in over my next favorite makeup product to set it, it is the MAC fluidline in Macroviolet. This liner is a very pretty plumy purple and Ill either wear it alone or ill pair it with the sketch shadow or even with a silver shadow. I do feel the liner takes a few coats in order for a nice constant color line so when I'm running late and don't have time to deal with that the sketch shadow works great on hiding the oops. My last makeup favorite is the Urban Decay blush in Score. I have has this for a long time and I use it a lot. It is shimmery but its a really pretty peachy/pink.

                                                     Stuff to make you clean:

I only have two of these because I have repurchased both of these products. My first one is Secret wonderland shower gel by Bath and Body Works. I suck at describing scents so Ill just tell you the top notes, Strawberry, Gardenia, Jasmine and Amber. I always seem to go for scents that have fruity sweet scents or amber scents and this has both. It smells yummy :) My second fav is a product that I have been using since 2009 and its the Aveda Outer Peace Foaming Cleanser. This face wash is meant to be for acne but I have found that it is the best thing to control the oil on my face and it doesn't dry it out after. I just pump the top once apply it to my face, leave it sit for a few seconds and rinse it off. The foam feels nice on my face and it takes off any left over makeup I still have. ooo Im in the process of buying a clarisonic so Ill really be able to get all the gunk out of my face with that and the outer peace.

                                                              Fragrance:

Heavenly Stardust by Victorias Secret has been my fav scent for the month. It is not over powering and stays on for a long time. I have the body spray rather than the perfume so I can spray it all over and I don't smell like I stepped into a perfume shop. It smells like the regular heavenly perfume but with an added fruity bit to it. I'm not sure if they sell it anymore though...

Nail Polish:

China Glaze four leaf clover polish has been my favorite this month. The picture makes it look like a mint green but the actual color is a little brighter and darker. Its looked pretty on my tootsies all month :)

                                                             Accessory:

Owl Earrings are from a local boutique and have been really cute to wear. its an unexpected little twist to see hanging from an earlobe. There kinda big to which makes it more fun.

Shoes:

These shoes are from Charlotte Russe. My favroite color is blue so I wear a lot of it and these wedges go well with most of my clothes.

                                                Non beauty favorites:

                                                   K-Cup:

Sometimes I don't know what I would do without my Keurig and Dunkin Donuts K-Cups are what I'm loving this month. There so yummy! When I found out Dunkin donuts started selling them I ran out and bought some like the next day.

                                    Home Fragrance:
I am one of those people that always has something good smelling going on in my place (specially when you have a puppy :/) I have tons of candles but I love burning oils the most. The smell is more potent and The oils last longer than a candle. The body shop Marshmallow smells just like one, sugary sweet goodness. Only bad thing is they don't sell it anymore so I use this scent sparingly. I know Slatkin & Co came out with one so ill have to pick that one up if its in oil form. That brings me to my second which is Slatkin & Co Homemade Cookies. It smells just like chocolate chip cookies. My boyfriend came home from work the other day to this smell and was bummed when he realized the smell was coming from my oil burner and not the stove.

                                                           Lolas Fav:

Did you really think that I was going to do this and NOT put in my puppy's fav thing? Teehee.

She loves this little brown chew bone. I have bought her 2 already. When I took it to take a picture of it she put her paw on it, snatched it, jumped on the couch, and chewed it. I have no idea how I managed to take this picture of her paw taking it but I did.

                                                    Here she is chewing it up :)

                                              That's my August Favs, Hope You Enjoyed!

~~~Maybelline FIT foundation Review~~~
I decided to try out  this foundation because I ran out of my Revlon Colorstay and heard this one was good. Well...I'm not fond of it :(  I have oily skin and this foundation makes my face look even more oily. It gives a medium coverage and makes my skin look dewy but as the day goes on my face becomes really shiny and I feel like I have a mask on. Blotting and re applying powder does not help take the shine away.  This would be a wonderful foundation for women with dryer skin, as for me, I'm not going to purchase this one again.
