Smith's Rose Salve

I have finally purchased the infamous Smith's Rose Salve! Many bloggers have raved about so I decided to pick one up at my local Sephora. I have seen this product at numerous trips to Sephora before but always refrained from buying it until now. I have heard this salve is great for many different things, chapped lips, diaper rash, and as a cuticle cream to name a few. I purchased this product in the hopes that it could help with my dry cuticles. I have been wanting to try the lemony flutter cuticle butter from LUSH for quite some time but since I do not have a lush near me this product was next on my list. My hands are constantly in water due to my job so my cuticles are always a mess and I needed something that would put the lost moisture back.

Yes, I used it before I photographed it, Sorry!

All I have to say is this product is GREAT!!! I have been using this product every night on my cuticles and lips. When I wake up in the morning no dryness or chapped skin anywhere.

Packaging:
Smith's Rosebud Salve comes in a 0.8oz tin that (for me) is easy to open. I love how the packaging is very vintage looking and it looks cute sitting on my nightstand. The only downfall to this tin is traveling, if you are not careful the tin will open and the product will go everywhere( if it is warm and the salve melts). When I went to Ohio last week I put this into a ziplock bag and made sure it was upright to keep the lid from falling off. It worked.

Scent:
Smith's Rosebud Salve has a sweet subtle floral/rose scent. My boyfriend says it smells like an  "old lady" but I don't think it does.

Price: Around $6 USD

HAVE YOU TRIED SMITH'S ROSEBUD SALVE? IF SO, WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO USE IT?

XOXO,
Holly

  1. I have it and I also mostly use it on my cuticles and lips. In the winter, I also like to use it when the area around my nostrils gets red and raw (I have horrible allergies and sinuses plus a perma cold in the winter, lol).

I've also used it in a pinch on super dry and scratchy elbows and knuckles!

    1. Oh no I hate getting raw skin by my nose! I'm glad I don't live in a place that snows anymore. I hope the salve helps take care of that pesky raw skin, it hurts so much. At least it smells good. :)

    1. It is a great product. A little goes a long way so it's worth the cost!
