                                                   ACCESSORY FAVORITES:

My boyfriend gave me this watch at the end of December as a birthday present and I have been wearing it a ton since then, especially this month. The weather has been off and on between nice warm days and cold days so I have been able to show off this cute little Michael Kors watch on the warmer days. If you read my Snap
shot Sunday's posts then you have probably seen this watch. Its in pretty much every post.
                                                         FASHION FAVORITES:

Leggings!!! I have been obsessed with leggings and long shirts all month long! My 3 favorite ones are my solid fleece lined black leggings on the colder days, my brown leggings for when I get bored of black and my cosmic leggings to add a little pizazz to my legs. :)

So there you have it, my March favorites! Lets see if I'm still using and wearing the same stuff for April.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick

I decided I needed a new everyday lipstick because the one that I had was running low so, off to MAC I went, in search of a new color. I think it took me maybe 5 minutes to find this lovely color and as soon as I swatched it on my hand I knew I had to have it! The color is called Morning Rose, a limited edition shade from the magnetic nude collection.  MAC describes this color as a "soft cool rose" (a cremesheen finish), to me it appears to be a rosy mauve with slight warm undertones and a subtle shimmer. Its a good mix between warm and cool and is the reason why I needed to get this color. I have nothing like it in my collection.

(photo taken in natural light)

This lipstick applies easily and adheres to my lips well. Staying power is about 4 hours before I needed to reapply. It did not hydrate my lips but it did not dry them out either. If your lips are prone to dryness I would suggest using a lip balm before applying this lipstick.

Final thoughts: I am loving this lipstick! It is the perfect everyday color for me. It looks like my lips but better and goes well with every eye look I have tried with it. In the summer I feel like this lipstick is going to look great paired with bronze and coral looks.

Unfortunately, when I checked the MAC website for this lipstick, it was sold out. Hopefully a MAC counter or store near you will have this wonderful color. Priced at $16 USD

Baby Pink Lips With My New Favorite lipstick

Oh man, It has been a BUSY month!! Ive been moving, redoing the house I just bought and started another semester of school this month so blogging kind of went on the back burner for awhile. I'm sorry guys :( But thankfully I am able to blog a little bit. So Ill start off with a new lipstick I picked up...

The photo above is my new favorite lipstick... MAC Creme Cup!
This is a very popular MAC shade that I purchased not even knowing the name. I went to my local MAC counter a few days ago with my 6 back to MAC empties to exchange for a free lipstick. I was on a search for an everyday color and because I have been wearing so much pink lipstick lately and was running low on my lip butter I decided to get a pink one from MAC. So, 15 minutes and about 30 swatches on my arm later, I chose this pretty shade...I didn't even look to see the name until the man at the counter told me.  I'm not sure why, guess I didn't care what the name was.

In the tube it looks more nude than pink but when applied it is a baby pink.

The finish of this lipstick is a cremesheen . It is very creamy and has tons of shine to it.

This lipstick lasted about 4 hours on me before I needed to re-apply. But with that said, on days that I am drinking coffee and talking alot it last about an hour and a half.

If you have not tried any MAC lipsticks yet and what to know a good starting one, try CREME CUP! It is the perfect everyday color that looks great with just about any makeup look. I keep this shade in my purse along with about 10 other lipsticks and glosses but I always seem to grab for this one the most.

HAVE YOU TRIED MAC CREME CUP? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MAC LIPSTICK SHADE?

xoxo,
Holly :)

FOTD April 2nd

I wasn't going to post a Face Of  The Day until I found my camera (I have NO idea where its at) because it is really hard to take photos of makeup with a phone, but I have gotten so many complements on my makeup  I decided to post one. I have worn this look twice already and both times Ive had at least 2 or 3 people tell me they like it. I don't know why? Its a neutral look so, Its nothing that interesting.  Sorry for picture quality in advance..
Whats on my face today
(Left to Right
Top to Bottom)

ELF Studio blush in pink passion on top of...
NYX stick blush in Magnolia
Revlon Colorstay 16 hour eyeshadow in Addictive Intoxiquant
Makeup geek shadow in shimma shimma
Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake
ELF Lengthening and volumizing mascara in black
Mac Prep+Prime highlighter in light boost
Too faced shadow insurance
Aveda dual action foundation in twig

It looks better in person, I couldn't get the lighting and angles right for the pictures :/ I will say that the Colorstay 16 hour shadows are really great. I was not expecting to like them as much as I do. I NEVER like eyeshadow from the drugstore for some reason but this was an exception.

New years eve look.

Even though my New Years Eve was spending the night at a bon fire burning Christmas trees, I still wanted to be somewhat festive with glitter on my eyes!

All I used was a matte brown shadow all over my lid and up into the crease, some black gel liner, mascara, and MAC Reflects antique gold glitter. Neutral cheeks and light pink lips to finish it all off.

Love this glitter!!! I cant find this color anymore so I'm guessing its been discontinued.

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES
This month has been a little crazy with school and my puppy but I was finally able to take some pictures and do a few post or two so here's what I liked in September:

                                         MAKE-UP

NYX Nude on Nude pallet- This has been my go to pallet of the month, It has some wonderful browns and golds that I can play around with. One day I can do a real subdle look and the next a smokey sexy look. Great buy :)

BENEFIT Creaseless cream shadow/liner-color RSVP. I use this shimmery neutral color as a base for other shadows or I put it all over my lid with a little liner on lazy days

URBAN DECAY Shadow-color STRIP. I have used this one for years it seems to make my hazel eyes pop paired with lots of black eyeliner.
(left to right)
Urban Decay- strip
Benefit- rsvp

MAC BEAUTY POWDER BLUSH- color EVERSUN. This blush has been a few posts that I have done but, I just like it so much. Its a light golden bronze that goes on sheer and can be built up to the perfect shade.

                                                                HAIR

(left to right)
PAUL MITCHELL Hot off the press spray- This is a thermal protector that I have used every time I curled my hair. It smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling soft and the curls stay for a long time!

AVEDA Clove shampoo- This is a shampoo made for brown hair. It enhances warm tones in the hair and has a wonderful earthy clove smell.

                                                      BODY YUMMIES

(Left to Right)

ALBA BODY CREAM- Scent KAKUI NUT. Very moisturizing and the nutty smell reminds me of fall. It can be slightly greasy if used on hands but as an all over body cream its great

AVEDA OIL- BEAUTIFYING. This oil absorbs into the skin super fast, locks in moisture and has a slight lavender scent. I like to use this after I shave to keep the smoothness or Ill put a few drops into a bath for extra moisture. It also works great all over the body whether its alone or mixed with body cream or lotion.

                                                             FRAGRANCE
AMAZING GRACE- I have no idea how to describe this scent other that its awesome and everyone should own it. It is just a great scent to throw on and run out the door. The smell lasts all day and it is not over powering.

                                                            SHOES
ETNIES CALLI CUT-  They might have discontinued this style. I have had these shoes for years and never really wore them because they are wide and I feel like I look 5inches shorter when I have them on but, when I asked my boyfriend to grab some shoes for me as I was getting Lola ready for the dog park he busts out these. At first I was like really, but I put them on and I forgot how comfy these are and ever since that day I have been trying to find jeans that look right with them because they are that comfortable.

                                                    K-CUP

DONUT HOUSE COFFEE- This is a regular flavor that isn't to strong and goes well with all my different creamer choices I decide on.

                                                      HOME SMELLY

MARSHMALLOW FIRESIDE-  from Bath and Body Works smells like fire roasted marshmallows. Awesome fall scent and when its burning in the cute little owl candle holder its even better. :)

                                              LOLA'S FAVORITE

WOOF WOOF I'm Lola and I'm a spoiled puppy that has been loving this tire toy. I like to stick my arms through the tire hole so I can get a better grip while I chew on the green ropes. WOOF WOOF
