Snap shot Sundays teal cardigan
Todays snapshot sundays was taken awhile ago. Its another comfortable everyday look. I love oversized cardigans when its cooler outside, they are so easy to throw on over a tshirt or tank and always look cute. Whats even better is when you can get them for cheap...like this teal one I have on, I found it on sale for $9 at walmart! Today I have on skinny jeans but a pair of leggings or even a maxi skirt would look cute paired with a longer cardigan.

If you like this look you can shop some of the same items and similar ones right here on Dobundle

SnapShot Sundays. Vintage 70's Wrap Skirt from Surcees
If you've read any of my other Snapshot Sunday's posts then you know that I am obsessed with my local vintage store called Surcees and this post shows off a cute wrap skirt I found there. (Actually I found 3 but I only bought 1... I think I'm going to go back and get another one). I love wearing skirts, preferably long ones because they are so comfortable ( haven't you heard that maxi skirts are like crotchless yoga pants?). It is also pretty windy where I live and short skirts are a disaster waiting to happen...I'm not fond of flashing strangers my goods, ya know? :) So I stick to what I like best and its a nice long skirt!
Here's how wore it:

| The skirt wraps around your body and ties in the back. I had no issue with this skirt falling down or coming untied. once I tied it, it stayed put all day. |

Snap Shot Sunday's 3/30/14 My Favorite Jeans!!
Today's snapshot Sunday's post is not going to be an outfit of the day but rather a post about my favorite pairs of jeans. I have no idea why it is so hard to find that perfect pair of jeans? I mean, seriously, practically every store has their own brand of jeans yet I can never find any that fit right? Whats up with that? I know I am not the only girl out there that struggles to find "that pair". Right??
I am going to show you all my 3 favorites right now and they are all pretty affordable. But before I get into the photos let me tell you my issue with finding jeans...
Ok,onto my 3 favorites:
So there you have it, my 3 favorite pairs of jeans! :)
What are your favorite jeans?
I am going to show you all my 3 favorites right now and they are all pretty affordable. But before I get into the photos let me tell you my issue with finding jeans...
- I have short legs! They are always 3-5 inches too long so I have to wear heels, roll them up or get them hemmed.Oh, and I'm 5'4" so I am short but not extremely short.
- My butt is big for how small I am. I can typically wear juniors and kids sizes but sometimes the straight fit doesn't go over my butt well.
- My waste is tiny. If they fit my butt they usually have a gap in the waste.
Ok,onto my 3 favorites:
First up is Hollister Co.
I have been wearing Hollister jeans for a good 10 years now. Some people love them and some people hate them. I like them because I never have any issues with the gap in the waste, the pockets actually sit on my butt instead of underneath and they come in regular, long and short inseam lengths. (I buy short length) I tend to go for the boot cut and flare designs as they fit me best and the skinny designs are way to skinny for my butt. The ones in the photo are boot cut in a medium wash. They sit on the waste and are tight through the thigh. They also have some stretch to them. I got this pair on sale for $25USD
Second pair is Forever XXI
These jeans are the Everyday Skinny Jeans and are only $7.80 USD. They are extremely comfortable, have a lot of stretch and come in different washes. The pair I have are in a darker denim wash. Sometimes they can be a little long on me but that's ok because they shrink a bit when you put them in the dryer. The only bad thing I would say about them is they get stretched out way to easily and i need to wear a belt to keep myself from pulling them up every two seconds.
Last pair (and my newest "had to get") MissMe
I have been on a hunt to find a pair of Miss Me jeans for awhile now. My friend got me talked into buying some since she raves about how comfortable they are, how they are stretchy but not too stretchy and how none of the embellishments fall off them and she says they are the only jeans she wears ( which is true, shes wears the shorts and capris too) So I decided to go hunt for a pair, and hunt I did because whenever I would try them on I would have the waste gap issue with every pair until I finally found this pair at Belk in the, wait for it... little kids section! Yes, the little kids section. That same friend told me to check the little girls section as they have some of the smaller sizes and she thought I would fit into them better. She was right! I will say it is weird trying on clothes on an area where the sizes range from 2 toddler and up.
These jeans are a little on the pricey side ranging from $86-$109 USD. Mine were $86 but I got them on sale for $56.24 USD after taxes. I love all glittery detail to the pockets. The ones in the photo are a boot cut in a medium wash with fading and a sequin Fleur DE Lis pattern on the back pockets. These fit a little higher at the waste and are tight through the thigh with a slight flair.
So there you have it, my 3 favorite pairs of jeans! :)
What are your favorite jeans?

Snapshot Sundays 3/23/14 Dreamcatcher.
Today's snapshot Sunday features this handmade tunic tank from vintage surcees. The owner makes all sorts of things and this shirt is one of them. A coworker of mine had a black and white top with arrows painted on the front, when I asked her where she got it she told me surcees made them so I went in, talked to the owner and she made me this cute little shirt. I picked the front design and the fabric colors.

Snapshot Sundays 3/16/14 Vintage Yellow Polka Dots
Today's Snapshot Sunday features this super cute vintage wrap around skirt I purchased at surceess. I paired it with a lightweight off white front tie cardigan a bright green bandeau top, cowboy boots and of course, my Alex and Ani bangles. I am not exactly sure this skirt is made out of but since it is from the 1970's era my guess would be polyester. Whatever it is made from feels really nice and soft and is so comfortable to wear. I have never owned and actual wrap skirt. Most "wrap" clothing now looks like it could be one piece of fabric that you wrap around yourself but it isn't, this skirt is the real thing. It took me a few tries to to wrap it around and tie it securely but when I finally got it, it stayed on just fine. I did wear a slip under it...just encase ;)
Where to get it:
Skirt: Vintage (This one is cute)
Cardigan: Old Wet Seal. This is similar
Bandeau: Old not sure where its from. This is similar.
Boots: Maybelle by Just Fab
Bracelets:Alex and Ani

Snapshot Sundays 3/9/14

It was such a nice day this past Sunday and I was so excited to wear something a little less bulky than my usual sweater. I decided to wear my trusty old chambray top(that I love) with a mint green cami underneath a black maxi skirt and fun leopard print flats because even though it was warm outside there was still a crisp in the air. As for my jewelry, well, I tend to wear the same jewelry everyday. That consists of earrings, the occasional necklace and a ring or two because a lot of the big neck pieces get stuck in my hair or they rub on my neck and make it red and yada, yada, yada. This week I wore these cute flower earrings and my new obsession...the watch/ bracelet combo(like most people now). I have been wearing bangles, specifically Alex and Ani bangles as they fit my wrists the best and a watch daily. Who else likes to stack their arm full of bracelets? :)
What I have on:
Chambry top: JcPenny
Mint Cami: Forever XXI
Maxi Skirt: Forever XXI
Leopard Flats: Naturalizer brand but purchased at TJ Maxx
Earrings: Bought at a friends jewelry party
Watch: Micheal Kors
Bangles: Alex and Ani

Snapshot Sundays 3/2/14
Its been a little gloomy and rainy these lat few days so all I have been wearing is sweaters, skinny jeans and boots. This is an outfit I wear often on these types of days. Its warm. Its cozy, and its easy to wear. The necklace is a swarovski necklace that I have had for a very long time and its missing 2 crystals out of it! :( It makes me so upset because its not like that thing was all that cheap and I cant send it back for replacement stones. And yes, my hair is a mess. Its raining outside...no sense in curling my hair when the rain is going to mess it all up.
Sweater: This sweater is Very old from wet seal but This one is cute
Tank under sweater:Forever XXI
Jeans:Forever XXI
Boots: Just Fab Maddox Boots
Necklace: Swarovski.Old and I cannot find it online anymore but This one is cute

Snapshot Sundays! 2/23/14
I have a crazy school schedule and posting an outfit look everyday just isn't feasible for me so, I decided Sundays would be the best day for this and Tada "Snapshot Sundays" it'll be! Every Sunday I will have a quick post of an outfit I wore and where you can find the pieces or similar pieces I had on. So much easier to shop that way! I love it when I read blogs and it has links to where you can purchase the items.
My first installment of Snapshot Sundays is what I wore on a shopping trip to target. I like to be very comfy and casual while shopping.
