Wow, I have missed like a month of Nykki's mane blog Question Wednesday blog hop posts, BAD BLOGGER!!! I better get back on track for the next 2 weeks before I move and wont be able to blog at all for a few weeks :( Anyway, On to the post!
- What is your natural hair color? Are you happy with it?
My natural hair color is Brown, for all you cosmo girls out there it is around a level 5
- Do you dye your hair? If yes then do you do it yourself or go to a salon?
You'd think I would since I work in a hair salon but to tell you the truth, I havent colored my hair since last September! O.o I used to color it all the time staying 1 or 2 shades lighter or darker. And since I work in a salon, I have one of my coworkers slap the color on. I have done it myself and its annoying and messy!!
- What is your must have hair care product?
That's a hard one! I have sooo many hair products but as of right now it has to be my Aveda Be Curly Style Prep. It fights frizz and doesn't weigh my wavy hair down :)

- What is the worst hair care product that you have ever used?
I don't care for shampoo and conditioner from the drugstore or walmart/target. They are all full of wax and nasty stuff and I can feel a buildup in my hair after one use of the product.
- Do you have any good tips or homemade recipes for long and pretty hair?
Well until next week!!!

Always use a heat protector if your going to use any heat on your hair, dont shampoo your hair everyday as it can make your scalp over produce oil if you do, conditioner is your best friend, and please, if you color your hair black and want to be blonde dont bleach your hair out 3 times in a row...it'll more and likely break off! (if seen that too many times)
Well until next week!!!

Oh, yes. Going from black or very dark brown to blonde is difficult. I did it once and I wanted it quickly and so I ended up bleaching my hair at home 3 times during one week. I am happy that I didn´t loose my hair after this. I would never do it again!
ReplyDeleteDid it take a long time for your hair to get back to normal? Its always so damaging doing something like that!
DeleteOooh I've never tried that Aveda product but I like their shampoos and conditioners - maybe I should try to embrace my wavy hair! x
ReplyDeleteI really like the Be Curly Style Prep, it helps tame some of the fluffyness that curly/wavy hair can get. I like to mix that product with another Aveda product like phomollient or confixor to help keep my hair from going crazy.
DeleteI haven't tired that Aveda product looks lush gona have to try it xxxx
